Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is celebrating the Chinese New Year and its 15th anniversary with the “Abundance of Prosperity” event.
The Centre Court will be decorated with an oriental garden theme, including golden rabbits, vibrant flowers, and lanterns, with a 20-foot-tall pair of Prosperity Rabbits as the focal point. The rabbits are decorated with hundreds of roses, a symbol of longevity in Chinese culture.
The event runs until February 5th and is meant to bring good luck and prosperity to shoppers and reignite their love of the mall’s shopping, dining and urban leisure experiences.
The mall is offering a wide range of activities and offers to celebrate its 15th anniversary and the Chinese New Year. Visitors can shop for Chinese New Year decorations and gifts at the Abundance of Prosperity bazaar, featuring rabbit-themed items and festive hampers.
The mall has also partnered with various brands to offer special promotions and collaborations, such as the BOSS X Looney Tunes collaboration and the VTMT streetwear fashion label.
In addition to shopping, visitors can also enjoy various entertainment options at the Centre Court. There will be acrobatic lion dance performances, Prosperity Rabbits dance performances and walkabouts, and an appearance by the God of Prosperity.
Visitors can also watch a high-energy drum performance by Taylor’s College on January 15, 29 and February 5th at 5pm. There will be a magician dressed in Chinese New Year garb giving candies, fortune cookies, chocolates and vouchers every weekend and public holiday.

For those looking to make a purchase, there are plenty of incentives to do so. With a minimum spend of RM300 in a single receipt at speciality stores, shoppers will receive exclusive Pavilion KL Angpow Packets for free.
