The World of Tim Burton will be coming to Malaysia and will start from 21st March 2023 until 30th July 2023 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
The exhibition features approximately 540 works, including signature pieces from the Tim Burton retrospective and over 150 new pieces not seen in the MoMA exhibition tour.
This exhibition provides audiences with an opportunity to experience Tim Burton’s art in person for the first time and offers familiar visitors an in-depth look into his unique imagination.
With over 800,000 visitors, the premiere of Burton’s art exhibition in New York was the third highest-attended exhibition in MoMA’s history, leading to the development of The World of Tim Burton, a re-conceptualized exhibition designed for touring around the world.
The tour has included venues such as the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, the City Gallery in Prague, the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo, and the Max Ernst Museum in Brühl, among others.
The exhibition includes a range of works from Burton’s early years to his most recent projects, across various mediums including sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs, maquettes, puppets from his film work, and life-sized sculptures.

Tickets for the exhibition will be available for purchase on the KOL Nation and Ticketcharge websites starting January 11th, 2023 and at the exhibition venue from March 21st, 2023, with options for family and group bundles, VIP packages and season passes.

The World of Tim Burton exhibit in Malaysia categorizes Tim Burton’s five-decade-long career into ten thematic sections.
Each section comprises of a collection of paintings, drawings, photographs, videos, media art, etc.
This exhibition provides the audience with a special opportunity for an exclusive glimpse into Burton’s current projects in progress by replicating his personal studio, where he actively works.
