Even with the pandemic still ongoing and the Movement Control Order 2.0 still in place, 1 Utama is not letting the Covid-19 pandemic spoil the festive mood and its usual celebrations as they have gone all out with their Chinese New Year Celebrations.
The themed event for this year’s Chinese New Year celebration is called ‘A Majestic Celebration of Spring’, which was recently announced on their Facebook. The 1 Utama team has gone all out and built a replica of Beijing’s Summer Palace, offering visitors to travel back in time to the imperial dynasties of captivating folklore and artistic heritage.
The replica of the Palace has plenty of highlights for visitors, including:

- Golden Bridge & Water Lily Pond which is guarded by lion statues to offer feng shui protection, travelers crossing this bridge are promised wealth and success.
- Oriental Gardens where you can enjoy walking through a variety of gardens: Chrysanthemums to represent vitality, Orchids that signify purity, and Cherry Blossoms that speak of new beginnings.
- Mystical Moon Gate, where you can access the serene Bamboo Garden landscaped with fresh 60-feet-high bamboo trees via a mystical moon gate passageway.
