As Hari Raya beckons, 1 Utama Shopping Centre has prepared a ‘balik kampong’ homecoming experience for shoppers to celebrate the splendours of Eid from 21 April – 16 May 2021, which is especially meaningful to those unable to travel back home due to the interstate travel ban.

Standing impressively at 35-feet tall, a spectacular Malaccan Traditional House in an idyllic village setting is a welcoming sight at 1 Utama’s concourse Oval. Built as a poetic tribute to the living traditions of Malay culture, this arresting centrepiece is accompanied by a series of 12 different ‘Tangga Melaka’ (Malaccan staircases) designs, an iconic attraction beautifully preserved over hundreds of years and gazetted as a historical heritage in Malaysia.

To mark the beginning of Ramadan for visitors to break iftar, 1 Utama will also be organizing a 6-day outdoor Buka Puasa Makan Fest located at E-street, 1 Utama E – its newest building extension.
