8-In-1 3D Experience
Get your 3D glasses on as you’ll get to experience the different places and species of marine life in Malaysia all at the Shore Oceanarium.
Visit the Mangrove trees in the Malacca River, Pahang Rainforest, Sungai Perak, see fossil stones and even get to experience extinct fish species in their 3D light board display.
There is also a documentary movie called ‘A Turtle’s Adventure viewable in 3D Plus Cinematic Enhanced Experience and comes with special effects such as wind, bubbles, lightning, smoke other special effects.
Ocean Journey
Ocean Journey is the main section of the Oceanarium where it further divides into a few subsections such as the Oceanarium Theater, Shark Quest, Sea Shell Museum, Marine Fishes and coral exhibits.
Additionally, you can walk through below the overhead aquarium tunnel during the journey and if you’re lucky you can see sharks above you.
River Story
River Story is where you can learn all about the different river ecosystems worldwide as this exhibit has various species of fish native in the river regions such as the Indian River, Chinese Mountain Stream, Australian River, Lake Malawi and more.
The bigger subsection at River Story showcases the Malaysian Ecosystem, where the fish species native to our country will be shown for all to see here.

Sea Shells Museum
The Shore Oceanarium is home to more than 100 types of different varieties of sea shells which were collected from all around the world.
Here you can learn some interesting facts about sea shells and even take a photo with one of the largest sea shells in the world, the giant replica Nautilus Shell.
Magic Aquarium
This interactive zone is the first in Malaysia to have a “Magical Vacuum Aquarium/MVA Aquarium”.
In the Magic Aquarium under normal circumstances and according to the law of physics, water would flow through any hole in the middle of a water-filled tank.
However, the MVA Aquarium defies gravity with its specially designed mechanism that creates a vacuum at the top of the aquarium and maintains low pressure such that water doesn’t come gushing out of the outlet.
The Shore Oceanarium Tickets & Pricing
Tickets are available only on a walk-in basis and there’s no online purchasing option for The Shore Oceanarium.
Premium Plus Ticket Price:
- Adult: RM40
- Child: RM30
- Senior Citizens: RM30
Do note that children below 3 years old and senior citizens must show proof of identification.
There is also an optional add-on for the 3D interactive package and the feeding frenzy package costs an additional RM10 each.
