With the recent opening of Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre this year, there have been many reputable brands opening their stores in the new shopping mall.
LaLaport BBCC is one of the largest LaLaport malls in the world, and the second of its kind outside of Japan, following the April 2021 opening of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Shanghai Jinqia.
In Japan alone, there are 16 LaLaport shopping malls. LaLaport BBCC has a total floor area of 133,000 square metres and approximately 2,400 parking spaces.
There will be about 400 stores to be opened in stages, including popular brands from Japan, such as Nitori, Nojima, JONETZ by Don Don DOnki, and Coo&RIKU, Japan’s largest pet shop with a cat café.
Among the many stores, renowned Japanese ramen restaurant Ippudo has also just opened its latest outlet in Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Centre.
However, this is the first outlet where Ippudo will serve an extensive range of Kushiyaki (popularly known as Yakitori) also known as skewers. Among the Kushiyaki, you can try are button mushroom, okra, ginkgo nuts, king oyster mushroom, chicken wings, salmon fins, Brussel sprouts and more.
On top of that, it doesn’t just serve ramen and Kushiyaki as this outlet also has a bar inside. Currently, customers get to enjoy a wide selection of sake and beer, while the restobar will soon be able to offer more drinks such as Japanese liquors, whisky and gin.
With this new addition of skewers on top of their extensive ramen menu, it will go perfectly with their beer and cocktail offerings.
Other than that, this location will also have a VIP room that caters to up to 14 to 16 pax comfortably, with a TV and sound system. Perfect for corporate clients that work in Kuala Lumpur to host their gatherings, casual meetings or even celebrations.
