World-Class Dota 2 Teams Converge In MITEC KL
Previously held in Genting, this time Kuala Lumpur will play host to twelve of the planet’s top Dota 2 teams, who will converge in the bustling city to vie for supremacy in this epic tournament. With a jaw-dropping prize pool of US$1,000,000 (over 4.6 million Ringgit Malaysia), the stakes have never been higher.
For the first time in ESL One’s history, the tournament’s playoffs will be brought to life at the prestigious Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) from December 15th to 17th. This state-of-the-art venue promises to provide the perfect backdrop for intense Dota 2 action and thrilling live matches.
An Exciting Tournament Format
The tournament will kick off with a three-day Group Stage running from December 11th to 13th. Twelve teams will be divided into two groups, where they’ll face off in a single round-robin format. The top six teams emerging from the Group Stage will advance to the live Playoffs, which will unfold in a double-elimination format from December 15th to 17th.
