Nestled in the heart of TTDI’s bustling shop lots and offices, AO Omakase stands out with its unique blue and grey Omakase restaurant.
Upon stepping inside, guests are greeted with an upbeat interior featuring a distinct hanging “chandelier” of boxes depicting Japanese locations and moments, complemented by the restaurant’s chosen blue wall features.
AO Omakase offers an exquisite culinary experience focusing on achieving balance in every dish. Head Chef Steve Ng emphasizes that balance is key when presenting an Omakase meal, as it is not just about the ingredients, but also the overall experience for guests.
He shares, “Planning a menu every season challenges us chefs in a positive way. I need to consider achieving a balance of not just ingredients, but also the experience throughout the course for the guests. A little too much tips the balance and you can never return from that.”
With Chef Steve’s background as the former Head Chef at Ed.Ju Omakase, guests can expect to be served conceptual dishes that are carefully crafted to place emphasis on flavours, textures, and temperatures. At AO Omakase, the menu changes seasonally to ensure the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used.
AO Omakase offers two dining sessions for dinner, with session 1 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and session 2 from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. Lunch is also available from Monday to Sunday, from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
Overall, AO Omakase offers a unique dining experience that elevates the traditional Omakase concept with a focus on achieving balance and serving conceptual dishes that are not only delicious but also visually stunning.
Whether you’re looking for a memorable meal with friends or a romantic dinner with your significant other, AO Omakase is the place to be.
